Privacy and personal data
basiliquedesaintdenis.com collects as little data as possible. No account creation, no forms, no newsletter. Reading this site requires nothing from you.
What the site collects
Anonymous visitor statistics: which pages are read, from which country approximately, on what type of device. They help me identify recurring questions — this is how I know that “where is the head of Marie-Antoinette” is searched thousands of times per month, and that it was worth dedicating an entire page to it. The site does not sell any data, does not create any profiles, and does not cross-reference its statistics with anything.
GetYourGuide modules
Availability modules and booking links are provided by GetYourGuide. They may place cookies in your browser to link a booking to this site, which is the principle of the affiliate programme. When you book, you do so with GetYourGuide, whose privacy policy applies to the data you enter there. This site never sees it.
Email correspondence
If you email me at [email protected], your message and address are kept only as long as needed to reply and correct the site if necessary, then deleted. They are not shared with anyone and are not used for any mailings.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings: the site remains fully readable, only the booking modules may stop displaying. For any questions about your data, email me. And if you prefer not to leave any trace at all, the nave of the basilica can be visited without a ticket, without a reservation, and without a browser.
